Laticia Waggoner was born in the incredible Rocky Mountains of Colorado in 1957 then grew up in Bisbee Arizona which is in the beautiful Mule Mountains….She was married young and as fate would have it she returned to Colorado. She and her husband raised three amazing children Travis, Casey, and Johnna whom all have beautiful and amazing families of their own. Her husband John Proctor sadly passed away in 2010. Laticia had always shared with him that one day she would like to write a book, or books. He encouraged her to believe in that dream, and he always believed she would.
Continuing to pursue her passion for writing and mystery romance, Laticia is excited to present the second book in her short story series of Joseph Dalecki and Paxton Steele.

About the Author
Laticia Waggoner has been blessed with a rich and diverse life. She was born in the incredible Rocky Mountains of Colorado in 1957, but she grew up surrounded by the beautiful Mule Mountains in Bisbee, Arizona. Her parents owned and operated the ‘Warren Bowling Lanes’ in Bisbee for many years until they sold it and her father went to work for the ‘Phelps Dodge Mining Company’. There were many wonderful memories of growing up in Bisbee and making close friends who remain a cherished part of her life today.
In the early seventies Laticia enjoyed many things while living in Bisbee. She danced with the young teen ‘Chamber Aids’. She also, enjoyed some modeling, which began at a fashion show sponsored by the County Merchants Fair held at the ‘Historic Warren Ballpark’. She was then given the opportunity to go onto state competitions for photogenic modeling where she won a state pageant.
Laticia married young, and as fate would have it, moved back to the Rocky Mountains. She and her husband, John, raised three amazing children, Travis, Casey, and Johnna who all have wonderful families of their own. Laticia will always remember this time of raising her family with her husband as the most rewarding of her life. She was an Administrative Secretary in Colorado for twenty-five years for the same school district from which her children graduated.
After retiring, she engaged on a new adventure to pursue her dream of writing a novel. That is when the ‘Heart Strings Series’ trilogy began. While continuing to live in Colorado, Bisbee has always remained very close to her heart. Her intimate knowledge of its diverse history and love for the charms of the little town made Bisbee the perfect choice for the setting in this novel series.
